For once in your life, do you want to actually see some money coming out
from your salary, and not just going into office related expenses like rent,
dining out and fare?

Have you been dreaming of keeping your kids nearby as you work from home?

Are you worried what the yayas might be doing to them while you're

away for most of the day?

Are you ready to say goodbye to traffic, smog and sweaty fx/bus mates?

Are you happy to wake up a little bit later because to "go to work",

you just have to turn on the computer?

Are you willing to still to GOOD WORK but for less time?

Are you wishing that you can earn in Dollars/Euros/etc and spend in Pesos?

Are you sick of Office Politics and want to "strike it out" on your
own, but are afraid to?

Well these dreams just might come true, if you qualify to be a Virtual

Assistant (VA) who works from home!
Are you happy to spend more time with friends than with commuting?
Find out - the inner workings and qualifications from someone who's
trained, hired (and fired) VAs.
Plus : After you "graduate" from this course, your details will be
submitted to my foreign contacts who are in need of VA services!
This Virtual Assistant Seminar is the Initial Training for VAs:

a. You'll know the requirements so you can be considered a good
"candidate" to be a VA (physical, mental, skills, etc)
b. Websites and Skills and Programs you need to study because you'll
need them as a VA
c. You'll know exactly what I tell my VAs to do, so you'll know the
how easy or complex it is.
d. How to
communicate properly with your offsite boss (this is the
most critical skill and attitude as a VA).
e. How to negotiate or justify your "rate" (how much you'll receive or
want to receive as VA).
f.  What two buttons on the keyboard will become youbest friend as a VA
g. The correct daily attitude towards your virtual boss to ensure
smooth work flow and happiness for both of you.
h. How to make a SHINY and effective resume for VA employment.
i.  Common misconceptions regarding VAs
j.  Personal positive and negative realizations of existing VAs
(people I've worked with)
k. How to cope with the eventual overwhelm if it happens (work load)
l.  You'll find out how I started in this VA business (as a boss and trainer)
Note: Again this is NOT a technical course. If I discussed ALL
programs in STEP BY STEP fashion, it will take more than a month
non-stop. This is the introductory course that you can build on. If
you can investigate how to use (for example, SKYPE) a program on your
own, then you're going to be fine as a VA. However if you need more
training --more training programs (session 2 and 3) are coming up.
m. At the end of the session you'll be given a long assignment.
Fulfill that within  TWO MONTHS of the training (deadline Oct 13) and
your resume will be submitted to people looking for VA's here or
abroad.
No hiring guarantees, just training.
1. Yes, there's no guarantee that you'll be hired in the end.  That's
based on the NEEDS of the employer and your ATTITUDE and SKILLS.
2. Yes, this is exactly like any other work opportunity.
3. My role is to give you an EDGE over any other applicants and allow you
to just be a VA to one employer and still be happily working at home
-- while earning what you want.

4. Your name will only be submitted to my contacts after attending any
event and doing the assignments. However, you must know that if
employers are looking for experience, it's much better you pass
through the X day online training first before applying.
Free Listing
You pay nothing to have your name/resume submitted to them. Of course
I wil l no longer have control if they opt to reply or not.

STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS

On Monday, July 26, 2010, the 15th President of the Republic of the Philippines, Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III, or just plain “P-Noy”, as he would like his Filipino constituents to call him, will deliver his first  State of the Nation Address,  or  simply SONA to all of us.
This day is “D-Day”  not only for the administration of  President Benigno “Noynoy” C. Aquino, but also to us Filipinos who are all stakeholders and role players in whatever kind of  governance he will be giving us. President Aquino’s first SONA will give the general public insights as well as ideas and thoughts to ponder on, as  to what  directions his government will be heading for the next six years. For example, to meet the huge budget deficit inherited from the  previous administration – will it be “ imposition of additional  taxes or  more rational and efficient revenue collections ”? Will it be new loans or suspension of foreign debt servicing/loan payments?” In tackling the problem of generating  more job openings/opportunities  to solve unemployment problems  and exodus of Filipino workers abroad – will  President Noynoy give emphasis  on SMIs and  agriculture?  Should he allow entry of more foreign investments with a more liberal law on property ownership and more tax holidays among others as sweeteners?” And so on  and so forth.
The people are waiting, anticipating, full of hope for this momentous event in our lives, people from all walks of life - the politicians, the militants and activists, millionaires and those who have less in life, the ordinary citizens, and even foreign governments .  It is your call Mr. President, you are now on center stage.

Dinner at La Maison Cafe

After visiting one of our friend at the hospital,my friend and I decided to have dinner at La Maison Cafe located Terraces, Ayala, Cebu. La Maison's specialty are baby back ribs and steaks. Unfortunately, at that time both run out already so, we opted the La Maison Bento recommended by their staff.

Seabass Bento (P375).This includes salad, creamy wine mussels and plain rice.Although, I'm not a food critic but the food indeed delicious.

My friend ordered the Grilled Spicy Chix Bento (285).

Summer Outing At Sugar Beach Resort, Bantayan

June 5-6, we had our summer outing at Sugar Beach Resort, Bantayan. It is my second time to visit the place. I am still in awed of the place-the crystal blue waters, white sand, the sun.

Late afternoon view of Sugar Beach

June 5, we hit the road around 6am to catch the 9:30 am boat in Hagnaya that will take us to Bantayan. If you will be bring your car to Hagnaya only, there is a parking area at the pier where you can leave your car and pay a minimal fee of 100 pesos ($2)per day. Boat ride fare will cost you 150pesos($3). It will take you 30-45 minutes ride to Bantayan.

Boat that will take you to Bantayan Island

Transportation in Bantayan is either multicabs, tricycle( bike with side cars), motorcycles. There are also vans that will pick you up from the port depending on the resort you will be staying.

We stayed at Sugar Beach Resort since there are 35 of us and because it is much cheaper there and again because of the wide shoreline for our team building activities. Sugar Beach Resort have both non- air conditioned and air conditioned rooms. They have rooms for that could accommodate in groups also. The air conditioned rooms which are quite far from the beach cost around 1,800 pesos( $35) and the non air conditioned rooms good for 4 persons cost around 1,000 ($20).

For our food, we went to buy our food in the market and have it cook at the resort. You can request the people at the kitchen department to cook food that you have brought for you at minimal fee. We had roasted pig and grilled fish for our lunch, grilled fish and sweetened pork for dinner, dried fish, eggs and corn beef for breakfast.

The blue waters was really inviting, despite a few jelly fish we still went swimming.

During the night, a few went night swimming, some were drinking under the stars, few were singing( we rented a videoke system by the way), a few made tents near the beach and sleep there.

Photo's below showing our activities/games

June 5, around 9:30 we took the boat that will take us back to Hagnaya port.

We enjoyed and had so much fun in Bantayan islands.

Boat ride is every hour.
