We had our company summer outing in Camotes Island. It was a rainy Saturday, few of us were hesitant to go,since we heard the news a typhoon was coming. No one bothered to check the weather and with the assurance from the colleagues that it was okay to go, we decided to just come along. We departed from Portofino beach at Lapulapu around 8:00am and boarded a boat. (Not a good idea. If in case, you would go to Camotes, take the boat in Danao, a 1 hour drive from Cebu City. And from Danao to Camotes will take you another 2 hours.)
The ride was smooth sailing during the first 2 hours. And then suddenly, big waves was coming in. I will spare you the drama. We were scared.A few of us were crying and praying, thankfully after 6hours (3pm)we reached Camotes.
Our boat ride which took us 6 hours to reach Camotes due to big waves & zero visibility(can can see the waves?)

The place was quiet, not crowded. The sand was fine and the waters are tempting.
The hotel rooms are clean and decent. I wish, it had a hot shower, but you can request hot water for your bath for free of charge.(No photos of our room, I was too tired & feverish)
I did not enjoyed much on this trip, since mostly I was in bed due to fever. For the rest of my colleagues, they said they enjoyed Camotes Island.
