Anyhow, I'm so happy Procter and Gamble send me the gift pack. I have been using Pantene already for quite sometime now and it did not disappoint my hair.

Product competition via displays

I am a bit frustrated of how my products are displayed at the drugstores. Well, I should not be, since display contracts have been terminated already during the second quarter.And the marketing's strategy is via TV commercials airing during prime time,but just take a look at them (competitors) very aggressive when comes to displays and merchandising When you enter a drugstore this is what you see.

And how are my products doing when it comes to displays?

How do you compete with that?. Well, we may be not good when it comes to drugstore displays but with brand loyalty, product quality, massive promotions via doctors, TV commercials, we definitely can compete.

Rich God Poor God by Chinkee Tan

I just finished reading the book of Chinkee Tan, Rich God Poor God. He actually gave a talk at our office last Saturday, paid by our company. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend. Okay, about the book what did I learn? There are a lot really, I even took down notes so as not to forget and re-read them again. But one thing that struck me was the the simple and yet powerful revelation found in this book about tithing.A conversation between the author and a Christian businessman.

" Do you believe God owns everything? Do you pray to God for blessings?  Do you believe that it is God who give you the ability to produce wealth? Do you believe that God is your partner in your profession or your business? If you have a partner, once the profit ot hte income comes in, how do you split your income? fifty/fifty, right?. Don't you realize that God is a great partner? He never asks for fifty percent. He only asks for ten percent and we still can't return his share".

A quick coffee run at Coffee Cat

My friend Lovely (who knows a lot of good places), introduced me to this nice coffee shop-Coffee Cat, somewhere in I.T park. Place is quiet and relaxing. I love their couches/chair in black very minimalist (I forgot to take a photo).

Coffee taste even better when serve in mugs, but this one is cute in black and printed label, so I brought mine at home (part of recycling and reusing)

They also serve yogurt which I think this is what people keeps coming back.

NO to plastics bags

Part of doing my share in saving Planet Earth is that, I avoid plastic bags from stores, instead I always had with me my canvass eco bag from Rustan's. Rustan's supermarket even give double points everytime you use their eco bags, which I think retailers should do.

Francis Kong, a well known motivational speaker is on the cover of Money Sense. I just bought mine just today and will be reading it from cover to cover.

I got to know Mr. Kong because someone introduced me to his first book entitled "Only the Real Matters". Since, I loved his first book, I bought a few more. I liked the way he writes, simple and in a story format with many lessons to learn as to whether in business,attitude,values or ethics. Truly an inspiring person!
